Susan van Zyl is the 3rd of six children and was born on the 31st of May in South Africa, in a then small town Witbank. She finished her schooling in Middelburg and studied at Normall College Pretoria to become a pre-primary teacher.
Susan studied further in the art arena in The Netherlands when they lived in Oldenzaal. Susan always was an artistic and also practical person. In 1984 she finished her studies to become a teacher and although she does not "teach" anymore, she will always be a teacher at heart.
Susan loves and teach all the art mediums but her favourites are graphite pencils drawings, acrylic paints, soft pastels and pan pastels, colour pencils and lately also watercolour
Susan is patient and teach in a fun and loving way.
