Derwent Lightfast pencils are oil-based, smooth and creamy with a beautiful lay-down of rich colour. What’s more, they can even be used with a medium giving a painterly effect when dissolved.

The thick core gives a dense colour application, which brings vibrancy to any drawing.

It is available in a range of 100 lightfast colours. The revolutionary core is resistant to prolonged colour change ensuring artwork will not fade. The vivid colours are specially formulated to combat the effects of UVA radiation, 100% lightfast and guaranteed to last 100 years under museum conditions, it complies with both the ASTM D-6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105. Strict testing for international lightfast standards is done in Arizona, US.
